Frequently asked questions

What can I expect from the first visit?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out any necessary paperwork and give the doctor time to review any materials you may bring with you. This includes (but is not limited to) any recent scans, x-rays, MRIs, reports etc.

Dr. Par will conduct a thorough physical assessment focused on movement, functionality and pain. Be prepared to talk briefly about the injury, when you began feeling pain, how it happened and contributing factors.

Treatment will begin in the first session using a combination of manual and instrument assisted therapy. Education is an integral part of the healing process, by the end of your first session you will become equipped with knowledge of injury mechanics, preventative measures and self-healing techniques. (Diagnosis, limitations, time frame, homework)
